How we met

We first crossed paths at the Homes for Hounds Golf Tournament in May 2012. Darryl, who was co-organizing the event with our friend Alex Draper, and Carly, who was volunteering that day, didn’t know that this would be the day we each met our person for the first time. (Those are both real photos from that day!)

The Proposal

On Carly's 35th birthday, Darryl somehow pulled off the biggest surprise (literally all of Kelowna knew except Carly!) Surrounded by her closest friends and family it was already the best birthday. Darryl then stood to welcome everyone and suddenly dropped to one knee and asked Carly to marry him. The evening turned into not just an unforgettable birthday but an engagement party!
